Hundreds of Bukwo District residents currently camped at Tulel HCIII have promised to overwhelmingly vote for President M7 in the January 2026 elections
Launching the DDTF designated holding ground camp for persons displaced by the mudslides/ landslides at Tulel HCIII , RDC George Owanyi conducted an open survey on the residents choice of candidate for President in the coming general elections.
Out of the leading candidates in the race, Bobi Wine got zero percent; candidate Nandala Mafabil Nil percent; while Candidate Yoweri Museveni got 101%.
The random open sample survey was witnessed by NRM District Chairman- Abubakar, Flag bearers for MP Too constituency Hon Kiti Peter; DWMP Hon Evelyn Teete & LCV Hon Tom Chesol.
Bukwo District in the Sebei region is predominantly NRM and in the 2021 general elections voted the President by 93%.
HE the President is scheduled to campaign in the district on Monday 10th November 2025 and despite the landslides wrecking havoc in the region, at least 40,000 Sapiny are expected to receive their candidate at Amanang sports ground
